There’s something about living abroad* that keeps you on your toes. Somehow, living the road less travelled becomes exciting and worthwhile. Living for the unknown is what life’s all about.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s those moments of catching flights, not knowing whether or not you’ll make it on time. It’s taking risks you’d never even consider a second thought about. It’s living life out of your suitcase and staying at a different accommodation every night. It’s meeting new people and forming a connection only those who live abroad would understand. It’s becoming the person you always envisioned to be. It’s experiencing culture shock and loneliness, hardships, and growth. It’s building strength and resilience while gaining wisdom throughout. It’s learning to live in the now and carrying the lessons learned with you back home and wherever you go.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There’s something about living abroad that makes you want to go away again.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And again, you go.

* replace words with traveling solo if living abroad isn’t relevant to you.
